Merge PDF
Combine PDFs in your browser. Drop in two or more files, put them in list order, and download one merged.pdf. Pages inside each file keep their original order. Bookmarks are not copied. Files stay on your device — they are not uploaded for processing.
Files are processed locally in your browser.
For this tool, your files never leave your device. We don’t upload your documents to a server.
How combining works
Pages within each input file keep their original order. You only choose the order of the files in the list — not the pages inside a file.
Bookmarks from the original PDFs are not copied into merged.pdf.
Processing runs in your browser. Files are not uploaded to a server for merging.
How to use this tool
- Add your PDFs. Drop PDF files into the box, or choose them from your device. Add at least two files. You can add more after the first selection.
- Put the files in order. Use the arrows beside each file. Every page from a file is copied in its original order, and the files are added in the order shown in the list.
- Merge. Click Merge PDFs. The button stays off until at least two PDFs are listed.
- Download. Save the new file, merged.pdf. The PDFs you added are left unchanged.
Supported formats
- Input
- PDF files (.pdf). At least two files.
- Output
- One new PDF named merged.pdf. It contains every page from the files, in list order.
Limitations
- A single PDF cannot be merged. The Merge PDFs button stays disabled until a second file is added.
- You can reorder files, not the pages inside a file.
- Password-protected and encrypted PDFs cannot be opened, and this tool does not remove passwords.
- If a file cannot be read, the merge stops and names that file. Other files are not partially downloaded.
- Bookmarks from the original PDFs are not copied into merged.pdf.
- Each PDF must be 75 MB or smaller. A merge can contain up to 30 files, 200 MB, and 400 pages in total.
